Faith was born for a reason.  I believe it was to first heal my family from sorrow and sadness, and this allowed us to help her fulfill another mission - - to help as many as possible.  So many people write to me and tell me how Faith has touched their lives.  Please share your stories with others who love Faith.  Log in or Create a new account to post in our Forums including Share Your Pet Photos and Stories and access other "members-only" community features! Thank you so much.  Enjoy Faith!

Faith welcomes you with hugs and licks!

Baby FaithFaith is an incredible dog. She was born just before Christmas in 2002, and we were lucky enough to have her in our family just 3 short weeks later. She was born to a mother dog, believed to be nearly full blooded Chinese Chow Chow, along with several other siblings. Faith wasn't the only puppy born with deformities, but because "Princess", her mother, was not our dog, we are not sure of the exact number of puppies she gave birth to. It is certain, however, that Faith was the only puppy with deformities to live.

Faith was rescued by my son Reuben on January 21, 2003, when he and his friend Johnny, the owner of Princess, jumped over the fence of the flea market area that Princess was raised to guard. Princess isn't exactly the mothering kind. She was literally terminating Faith's life because she knew instinctively that Faith was unable to battle the other puppies for a place to feed. Faith was weak, small, runtish, and mostly she was nearly dead. Reuben grabbed Faith out from under Princess and smuggled her under his jersey. He wore #63 for the Putnam City Pirates football team.

When Reuben brought Faith to us she had 3 actual legs, but the left front leg was badly deformed, placed backward, upside down, and it had more toes on it than normal dog legs. The leg was removed when she was 7 months old when it began to atrophy. People ask me if it was easy to teach Faith to walk upright...the answer is NO! It was not easy, and it was not natural. It was SUPER natural, and therefore, we have to give all of the credit to Jesus. Of course, it took a little....Faith as well.

Be a Hero! Donate a Car to the Cause! (If you are in a position to do so)

EVERY DAY it seems we get a call or an email from a school principal or teacher wanting Faith to visit their school before the end of the year. This is Faith's last year to do apperances, but schools are not set up for expenses which are required to bring Faith and me out to them. Airplane tickets and hotels are expensive etc.

I have a solution to the problem - - if you're able to help we would TRULY be grateful.  If you are able to donate a car or suv to the cause, I could drive Faith to area schools within a 4-hour driving radius of Indianapolis. This means we could go to Chicago, Louisville, southern Michigan, and all over Ohio not to mention all the areas in the circle!  Faith is OK with riding in the car for about 4 hours and this would save the schools TONS of money - - making it possible for us to see more kids. I think Faith really loves visiting the schools and hospitals where she can lick the faces and hands of as many kids as possible. Military bases within the radius would benefit as well - - so would veterans administrations, and clinics for physical therapy, churches...we could do so much more.

PLEASE - - if you are a car dealer, or you have a good used car or SUV that would not be missed around your place, but would help to make all the difference in the world to a bunch of hearts, please consider donating your car or SUV to the cause. You can reach me through our contact page or direct e-mail:  jude.stringfellow@gmail.com  I'll find a way to get the car if you're far away - - we can make it happen!! THANK YOU in advance.  It truly means a great deal to all of us at Faith the Dog.

SUPER BOWL MANIA!!!

Faith and I had the best time going to the Super Bowl Village and finding friends among the 65,000+ fans who were in the village milling around, representing their favorite teams and cities. You wouldn't believe how many people petted Faith and rubbed her head while she was lazily draped over my shoulders. She interrupted a group of kids getting their photo taken with the big XLVI sign...she met a few celebrities and kissed a lot of faces. She even stole a sandwich from a kid who never saw it coming.  She's that way!  She was happy to see the Giants win of course, but only because Eli Manning is Peyton's brother and here in Indy it's all about the COLTS so Faith wore her little jacket and wagged her tail proudly for the BLUE.  WISH-TV (CBS) interviewed us about our new book and Faith was able to sniff out a few goodies in the green room!!  She loved every minute of the fun...and so did I.

Happy 9th Birthday to Faith the Dog!! She turned 9 recently (Dec. 22) and has less than one year to work before she officially retires.  Faith will hopefully retire at the Ft. UNTIL SHE RETIRES:  Faith will be available for shows and events on a very limited basis.  For any and all information about dates and fees please contact me directly.

TEXT me (don't call)   317-410-3073   and let me know you are interested. You can also e-mail me through the BOOKING page on this site. This is the most recent photo of Faith, as you can see she's a bit older and we feel that it is in her best interest to work just one more year on the road. She deserves the rest and relaxtion - - but so far she's the first one out the door when she sees my suitcase! She knows we're flying somewhere, and that makes her smile.  If you have a special event coming up please contact me soon, we're booking and it's VERY limited at this point. Thank you so very very much - those of you who have brought out out. Thank you to the men and women of our great country and our allies, those who keep us safe. We not only salute we, we HUG YOU!

Faith the Dog and Harry Potter

Faith was asked to be in the 4th movie of the Harry Potter series. I was thrilled of course, and couldn't get my mind wrapped around how we would do that since it was being filmed shortly and she was not ready to travel overseas. At the time she was not as travel-savvy as she is today and I didn't have a passport, and Faith wasn't given the overseas shots and quarantine by-pass papers, so it looked as if the idea was a bust.

Then another idea came up through the pike - - she could film here, and they could edit her in. (Have you seen the MAGIC those people do with special effects?) Anyway, time passed, the crew and production people didn't work out the details as needed, and poor Faith did not get to play the role of a lifetime:  She was going to be a little dog that was created when Cedric dropped his wand in the middle of the first challenge of the Goblet of Fire. The wand hit a stone and the incantation he called out was slightly altered.  FAITH was to be the alteration!  Faith would have been a wonderful addition to the film and though it was not that way in the book - she would have been the star for sure! Maybe that's why they didn't go forth with the idea, they were afraid she would steal the scene! (Just saying)

Faith went her way and the great cast and crew of the Harry Potter series went their way. Today her image was sent via satellite to the crew and cast when they were at the premiere having a rest. The cast loves Faith and I was personally told by Rupert's assistant that he truly would have loved to have met Faith. She was written about in his local paper in Hertfordshire, England, and his mum is also a big fan of my little yellow dog.  I have to say this, my daughter Laura is still in love with Rupert as well. She has been since she was 10. I think Laura and Rupert would be perfect for each other....again, just saying!

So there is the story behind the Harry Potter film and Faith. It would have been wonderful, I wish it were so, and I hope in the future that at least the group can meet up with Faith. She's a big fan!  We all are.  (Don't you think Rupert and Laura would be cute together?)

EFT Workshops / Emotional Freedom Technique Fun & Fur!

Emotional Freedom Technique "The Karate Chop". This is a technique used with TAPPING or EFT work. I hope you'll join me, Jude Stringfellow, along with Faith the Dog sometimes, as we do EFT workshops around the country - - possibly the world. We're opening up our event horizons to include positive powerful workshops where I teach and train people to use their own inner spirit and being to tap into their personal strength and the strength of the universe to achieve greater goals than they may ever have imagined. Remember that FAITH is the substance of that which we can not see...it is the essence of things hoped for.  Tapping (or EFT) allows you to literally cause a spring of clear and deliberate vibrations to flow from within your own being - - manifesting itself through positive power, energy, and new complete feelings of increasing confidence.  Faith and I invite you to bring us to your city to do a workshop with your church, school, conference, or group - - we've been known to do a "Bark in the Park" event where guests bring their dogs and we all sit around doing a tapping event for peace, health, fun, good feelings and more. I train new tappers and old alike. We have fun, and believe it or not tapping can and will change your life! You will never be able to live without the EFT tapping once you start the process - - it's THAT great. Seriously, it's wonderful. Of course, I do these events without Faith as well - - it's up to you. For more information about EFT and the Positive Power Workshops - - visit my new site:  www.positivepower.weebly.com and let me show you how you can have more, feel better, and gain the confidence you want.  (Psst....it works for losing weight and attracting finances too!) Share the link with your friends - - Thank you for your love and caring support of my little girl FAITH. She as brought a new awareness and level of personal achievement to my life...let me bring it to you. It's in there! Tap it out!

An article on the Chilean web site latcetera.com from April 2010 has come to our attention:
